These rules and their described punishments are immediately in effect. None of these are really new rules. They're all the same rules, just with more detail, organization, and explanation so that it's easier to understand and not quite as vague.

This was done because of several things... like, four or five different events... all happening at the same time... and giving me a severe headache. @_@ The need was fully realized.

General Rules
No SPAM, pointless topics, or personal threads. Mundane announcements about yourself apply. If you are leaving, please go to the appropriate thread in Announcements.
Before creating a thread, please make sure that one on the subject does not already exist!
When posting in a topic that is over a month old, be sure that you are making a meaningful contribution to the topic, and not merely commenting on what someone else has said. This is 'gravedigging', and necromancy is evil!
Good grammar and spelling is very much appreciated and admired at DPO. We request that all members do their best to refrain from netspeak or crazy speech. Likewise, members are discouraged from insulting these members and rather kindly reminding them of this rule. If it continues, the Staff will take action.
If drama is to start, please do your best to ignore it or alert a Staff member of the events. Do not provoke or instigate fights, and do not make threats to other members. If a member is breaking rules and being an all-around n00bish jerk, defending the forum is okay -- but if they have not broken any serious rules, you will be punished along with them.
Do not register more than once. If it is discovered that you have multiple accounts, we will question why, and then remove the newest account. Repetition will result in a ban.
Disobeying or resisting a rule will result in immediate warn increase with post suspension. If you would like to question or comment on a rule, please PM Kismet.
Please do not make suggestions about Staff changes. If you have a complaint about Staff conduct, PM Kismet, and it will be taken into consideration.
A Mods comment is law unless otherwise overruled by the Admin. Continuing an argument or discussion after a staff demands it to cease will result in suspension.

Danny Phantom Related
The forum requests that "Save Danny Phantom" petitions and general spazzings be witheld. While we are not against discussion of the cancellation or efforts to rescue it, it's easy for fans to get overly emotional about this topic.
The Fan War will not be held within DPO's boundaries. Flaming and insults to any members or any other forums will NOT be tolerated. Anti-Fans, True-Fans, we are all the same, and DPO is willing to serve to all kinds. Violent words will lead to warn increase.
DPO allows slash supporters to be members. Please read the Phanwork Guildelines to know where to put slashart and fic. Insulting a slasher will not be accepted, nor will insulting someone who kindly dislikes slash.
DPO will not allowed members to use the forums as a base to attack or insult other DP fans or forums.

DPO Holds a PG13 Rating
Up until now we have been vague and fairly loose on what we mean by this, but here is a set explanation.
WHAT IS ALLOWED: Mild profanity, mature discussion of sexuality, references to violence and drug use
NOT ALLOWED: Vulgar language to insult, description of sexual activities, promotion of violence and illegal drug use, intensive gore
Images, discussion, or links to anything not allowed will require a warning. If the staff considers that even with the warning it should not be allowed on the site, we will PM you requesting you to remove it or we will o so ourselves, depending on the severity.
If a member complains about or reists an action due to this policy or continues to behave in such a way after a mild warning, the Staff will raise your warn bar and possibly suspend posting for up to 5 days.
Remember, older members -- this is not a free domain for us to play on. We have younger rmembers and we are not a private group.
