Pratchet is always a good read, and Moist's a great character.
Haven't gotten to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but it sounds really interesting. Then again, I haven't read the original either.
I finished A Princess of Landover earlier this week (started strong, but the second half just wasn't as solid), and I just started Slant by one of my favorite modern hard SF authors, Greg Bear, has introduced some interesting characters and world building, but I'm not far enough in to make a call on the book as a whole.
...I keep meaning to make a start on cataloging my collection, or at least my current reading list, and I just never seem to get around to it :/

So? How was it? Inquiring minds want to know.
I am freaking desperate for a decent book. I am running out of Pratchett to re-read. I even had some buy one get one at half price offers for B&N and could not find anything that interested me. |

Depends. I fully recommend it for people who have the patience or tolerance for the written style back in the mid-19th century. Sure, it gets funny when they add in samurai swords, ninjas, and the Bennet girls just kicking ass, but being 300+ pages, it does take some getting used to due to its unconventional style.
Now I'm debating on getting his latest book, ya know, the one with Abraham Lincoln vs. vampires. |
